The LANCOM Boot Camp webinar provides a compact overview of how a highly redundant and scalable network can be set up and operated with the LANCOM Enterprise Class Swichtes. The necessary redundancy and scaling techniques as well as the design concepts for different availability requirements are presented. The theory will be accompanied by your demo, in which the necessary configuration steps will be presented and demonstrated.
This boot camp webinar is aimed at experienced administrators of switched networks who want to master the transition to LANCOM Enterprise Class Switches in a minimum of time.
Due to the short time available, there is no time to deal with customer-specific scenarios or troubleshooting methods.

The focus of this 2-3 hour webinar is on redundancy and scaling techniques as they occur in typical enterprise networks and how these can be implemented with LANCOM Enterprise Class Switches.
- Covered redundancy and scaling techniques
- Device redundancy through Virtual Port Channel (VPC or MCLAG)
- Line redundancy through Spanning Tree (RSTP/MSTP)
- Redundancy and scalability in the core through routing (OSPF)
- Gateway redundancy using VRRP

- Cost-optimized switch network with a combination of VPC and STP
- 100% uptime switch network with VPC-capable access switches
- Arbitrary scalability using routing between aggregation and core level
