• Filter and firewall rules
• Hardware installation
• Graphical user interface
• Updates
• Use of DNS and DHCP
• UTM features
• Configuring local networks with and without VLAN
• Configuration of internet connections and VPN

This workshop is intended for

• Specialist dealers and consultants in smaller projects with LANCOM devices
• Network administrators in the SMB environment

Recommended knowledge

• Good basic knowledge of TCP/IP and networks is required
• Practical experience with LANCOM products is desirable but not essential

All necessary technologies have their own lectures and exercises. The process is in each case:

• Imparting the theory
• Practical excercises
• Explainng the solution

• Basic understanding of working with LANCOM R&S®Unified Firewalls
• Implementation of small installation projects with LANCOM devices using the web interface
• Improved communication with support or level III technicians
