Important: The certification is already part of these courses and does not have to be booked separately.

We recommend starting with the WBT LANCOM Certified PROFESSIONAL WAN / WLAN-Switch / Cloud. Ideally, you are able to work with the HW recommended for this course (see details under "Notes" in the course description). The actual certification is a supervised, 60-minute online multiple-choice exam, which is already part of your booked workshop.

Once you have passed the Professional exam, you can choose from the following four SPECIALIST training options: WAN | WLAN-Switch | Security or Cloud.

After successful Specialist certification, you can choose from our EXPERT training options: WAN | WLAN-Switch | Security the path that suits you best.

Requirements

Knowledge of the corresponding previous workshop is a prerequisite. I.e. to successfully complete the certification workshops of the SPECIALIST series you should have passed the PROFESSIONAL exam.
In order to successfully complete the certification workshops of the EXPERT series, you should have passed the corresponding SPECIALIST exam.

Program

As part of the bundle, you will receive 7 separate voucher codes from us, which are supposed to be entered in the "Voucher code" field during the online booking process on LANacademy under step 4: "Complete booking". This will reduce the total price to 0 EUR. Each code is valid for exactly one registration of one person.

Learning Goals

The LANCOM Professional Workshop provides you with the necessary knowledge to perform basic tasks with LANCOM devices.

The LANCOM Specialist Workshops build on the LANCOM Professional Workshop and impart the most important knowledge for the planning, commissioning and administration of a medium-sized local network with LANCOM devices.
In addition to the classic LAN tools, you will also learn the basics of the LANCOM Management Cloud.

The LANCOM Expert workshops build on our Specialist series and teach the most important skills for planning, commissioning and administering a large local network with LANCOM devices.

Qualification

As part of the LANCOM Partner Program, you need two people with at least Expert certification for your Platinum Partner status. As well as one further certification of your choice by one of the two Experts or a third person.

This is a "web-based" examination.

The certification is deemed to have been passed if you have answered at least 80% of the questions correctly.
Time limit is 60 minutes. Breaks longer than 10 minutes interrupt the exam. Please note that it is then no longer possible to retake the exam.
Please note that a camera with a microphone is required to take the exam and that the exam must be taken alone. During the exam, compliance with these guidelines is monitored by Proctorio.

In the case of web-based training, we grant you access to the training content and the exam for 180 days.
